Food-Faith-Farms The aim of the Food-Faith-Farms projects is to generate awareness about local agriculture, hunger and various food distribution programs, as much as it is about engaging in a participatory process with the food faith and farm communities to achieve a community food security vision. It is about providing nutritious food to those who are in need, and about relating with our farmers who grow our food. It is also about studying the structured faith based and spirit-led community food system; to bring forth environmental responsibility, social justice, and economic development; as well, to emblazon principles and practices for sustainable development of a programmatic nature. Farmers, churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, prayer groups, donor organizations and philanthropists, social workers, local, regional, and state government and businesses, homeless, and low-income citizens participate.
